Swing inward onto the property, the most common setup.
Wrought iron swing gates
Strong, ornamental, field-repairable, finished with Sher-Kem.
Wood swing gates
Privacy and warmth on a welded steel frame.
Arched & ornamental tops
Custom arches, finials, and scrollwork built to your design.
WHICH GATE
Swing vs. Slide — Which Gate Fits
Swing gates need clear space to swing open — a level driveway with enough depth. They’re the classic look and usually cost less to install than slide gates.
Slide gates are the answer when there’s no room to swing — short driveways, slopes, or wide commercial entrances.
We’ll tell you honestly which fits your driveway, and build it to match your home.
MATERIALS
Materials & Finishes
We build swing driveway gates in wrought iron, wood, and steel — not aluminum. Aluminum gates bend and slam in Houston’s high winds and are hard to weld or repair; iron is stronger and field-repairable. Every gate is primed and finished with Sher-Kem, a Sherwin-Williams direct-to-metal industrial enamel built for adhesion and corrosion resistance — not powder coat.

What Our Customers Say
Frequently Asked Questions
Why choose a swing driveway gate over a slide gate?
Swing gates are the classic look and usually cost less, as long as your driveway is level and deep enough for the gate to swing open. If there’s no room to swing, a slide gate is the better choice.
What’s the difference between a single and double swing gate?
A single swing gate is one leaf across the opening; a double (bi-parting) gate has two leaves that meet in the middle — the traditional estate look for wider driveways.
Should the gate swing in or out?
Most swing gates open inward onto the property. We assess your slope and clearance and recommend the safest direction for your driveway.
What materials do you build swing gates from?
Wrought iron, wood, and steel — not aluminum. Every gate is primed and finished with Sherwin-Williams Sher-Kem industrial enamel, not powder coat.
Does the price include the gate opener?
Yes. We quote one all-inclusive price covering the gate, the matched swing operator, labor, and tax.
Do you build double gates for wide driveways?
Yes. Double swing gates are ideal for wide openings; for very wide driveways with limited swing room we may recommend a sliding gate instead.
