In the beginning…
Our welding shop opened in 1976 under the name of Ace Iron Works and for many years we specialized in manufacturing burglar bars, gates and various types of ornamental iron products. As the burglar bar market weakened and times changed in the mid 80’s, many of our customers expressed an interest in securing their homes with custom driveway gates. So, in 1989, we changed our name to the Automatic Gate Company. We have continued over the years as a small family-owned company specializing in meticulous workmanship, attention to detail and one on one service to each of our customers.
We have set up our shop with modern state of the art tools and equipment. We have gone to great lengths to modify many aspects of the manufacturing of our gates to make them stronger, attractive, and reliable. Today we are still a family owned business and are proud to be a part of the Advanced Fencing, LLC family of companies.
